On January 5, 2016, the cooperation and exchange meeting of pharmaceutical enterprises (Yancheng) was held in our city in 2016. Twenty executives from 17 customer enterprises in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Henan and Nanjing, the main heads of 26 drug manufacturing enterprises in our city, and relevant directors of our Korean-funded industrial park and Binhai Pharmaceutical Industrial Park were invited to participate in the meeting. Vice Mayor Zhou Shaoquan and Deputy Secretary-General Zhu Jinming of Yancheng Government attended the meeting.

In his speech, Vice Mayor Zhou Shaoquan introduced the economic and social construction and development advantages of Yancheng in recent years. He stressed that the Municipal Government of Yancheng Municipal Committee has always attached importance to the development of the pharmaceutical industry, and has included the development of new medicine in the "13th Five-Year Plan", and has continuously increased the efforts to promote it. He asked local pharmaceutical companies to strengthen the docking and communication with the participating merchants, establish win-win mechanism, and expand the area of cooperation.

Director Zhao Ning of Municipal Food and Drug Administration presided over the meeting. Zhao Ning said that Yancheng pharmaceutical industry has entered a rapid growth stage, with good development opportunities and cooperation space. He hopes that the drug enterprises in and out of the city will adhere to the theme of openness, communication, cooperation and win-win, highlight strong alliance and complementary cooperation, and jointly promote the leap-forward development of Yancheng medical economy.

Qian Qinhui, deputy director of Municipal Food and Drug Administration, introduced the achievements of food and drug supervision in our city in recent years, as well as the general situation of drug industry development in the whole city, and analyzed the complementarity and mutual benefit between Yancheng drug industry and foreign guest enterprises.

Chairman Wu Guangmei of Shenzhen Hill An Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. delivered a speech on behalf of the guest enterprises. She highly appraised the economic development achievements and investment environment in Yancheng, and hoped that the senior management of the customer enterprises would cherish the opportunities, communicate closely and cooperate fully.
